The Colchester Zoo Aquatic House is being redeveloped with an open reptile enclosure and new species ready for Easter 2008. The Beginning Zone acquires a new Activity Centre for interactive learning by Christmas, and a new £1.75 million Orangutan enclosure next to the old Stanway Church is due in summer (details on the website).
