The Budongo Trail provides a new Home for the Chimpanzees at Edinburgh Zoo, the enclosure featuring a large outdoor area and a network of rooms for the 40 chimps. These have different environmental conditions with regard to humidity, temperature and lighting, so the chimps can move between them and experience different ambiences. There will also be hands-on interactive displays, and the Trail opens in summer 2008.
