Sealife Scarborough has put aside around £100,000 for the improvement of its seal hospital and founding of a Seal Rescue Centre and Seal Rescue Academy. The renovations include the extant seal pool that is home to four seals, Bruno, Bubbles, Mando and Ed. The new Seal Rescue Centre was opened in time for the Easter 2008 holiday.
