Among The Deep’s ongoing series of events are National Science & Engineering Week on 9-10 and 15-16 March, with presentations including Shark Science For Kids, and Wave And Wind Power. From 21 March to 31 August, Shark Summer features a compered 20-minute 4D Shark Movie by Jean-Michel Cousteau, featuring Great Whites, Whalesharks and Hammerheads, as well as special theatrical effects, treasure trails, badge making, art activities and displays of prehistoric predators such as the 60-ton Megalodon. Conservation Week from 24 May to 1 June follows, along with the Humber Environment Fair of 7-8 June, Pirates And Seafarers Storytelling, from 25 October to 2 November, and Festive Dive Shows from 20 December (details at the website).
