Directions:
By Car:
South Lakes Wild Animal Park is situated at the southern tip of the Lake District in the North West of England on the A590 trunk road.
Take Junction 36 from the M6 and follow signs for Barrow in Furness, until the brown Elephant Tourist Signs take over.
By Train:
Travel by First Northwestern Trains on Manchester Furness Line to Dalton-in-Furness Station. The park is approx 1 mile from the station (up-hill so not recommended for people with walking difficulties see below for local taxi information)
Using Cumbria Coastal Line alight at Askam Station and use local taxi. (see below for local taxi information)

By Bus:
By Stagecoach Bus service to Tudor square. The park is a short walk (up-hill so not recommended for people with walking difficulties see below for local taxi information)
In addition look out for special Stagecoach services to the park including X9 from Chorley, Preston, Bowness and Windermere on selected days in school summer holidays.
